For the last 3 years the girls at Grace Community Church AKA "Grace Girls" have hosted a conference for women called Beautiful You. The emphasis is on Healthy Body, Mind and Spirit, with a slightly different theme running through each year. For example two years ago the emphasis was overcoming sexual abuse, last year it was focusing on women's mental health issues and overcoming adversity in your life. This year the theme was JOY...

Because of all the disasters and economic downturn we thought that we could all do with a bit of positivity and some good coping mechanisms.

The day was filled with fun, laughter, challenges and inspiration as well as heaps of pampering and a good dose of self esteem boost.

The main speaker was Ellie Beavis author of the book "JOY, Find it, Keep it, Live it" who came over from Los Angeles especially to speak at Beautiful You.
