 Woman to Woman

Every woman carries with her the strengths and weaknesses of her background. She carries the legacy of her past into all her relationships - family, business and church. This program will show you how to free yourself from the past and focus on the future. It will give you the strategies and skills needed to make positive changes in relationships.

Issues explored include: family dynamics, handling shame and guilt, sexuality, self discovery and more.

Man to Man

Men today need help with hassles and hurts and an opportunity to find hope. This program explores past and present relationships and the effects of our family background on the way we think, feel and behave.

The themes will include healthy sexuality, handling conflict, addictive behaviour and other relevant issues.

Participants will gain personal insight and skills for living a more successful life.

  Search for Life Program

People frequently struggle with feelings of anxiety, inadequacy and low self-esteem. These destructive emotions affect relationships at work, home and in church. This program identifies the source of so many human tensions and introduces participants to the healing power of acceptance, value and belonging.

Issues covered include: the performance trap, peer group pressure, people pleasing and commonly held misbeliefs.

Door Of Hope

A small group for women survivors of sexual abuse. Sensitive and loving leadership characterises the atmosphere of this group. Confidentiality and unconditional acceptance are priorities. Women who have participated in this course have found positive changes to the way they approach current situations and the way they face the challenges of everyday life.
Who cares about your wounds and wants to bring healing? Jesus does!

Issues covered include: shame and guilt, sexual healing, powerlessness and betrayal, restoration of dignity, forgiveness and love.

Some programs will also be offered after 29th May at Hervey Bay Baptist church.
